Dogs Needing Homes in Amelia Court House, Virginia

Our Adoption fee is $20 which includes a microchip and a discount Spay/Neuter/Rabies certificate to Countryside Veterinary Center in Amela (this includes the exam, the surgery and the Rabies vaccine) thanks to a local Non-Profit, APAW (Amelia Patrons for Animal Welfare).

• Adoption of dogs is open to residents with homes in Amelia, Chesterfield, Powhatan, Cumberland, Prince Edward, Nottoway, Dinwiddie County areas of VA.
• Adopters must sign a sterilization agreement to have the adopted pet spayed or neutered within 30 days of adoption.
• Adopters must return the proof of sterilization paperwork within seven (7) days of dog being spayed or neutered.
• Dogs that have been spayed/neutered are available for adoption to anyone including out of state residents.
• We operate on a first come, first served basis to qualified adopters which means WE DO NOT HOLD ANIMALS so you cannot reserve a dog over the phone or via e-mail.
